Goorin Bros. celebrated the opening of another Los Angeles store on June 16, 2011. Larchmont Blvd is the latest locale for the flourishing family-owned business operated by fourth generation milliner Ben Goorin. Though the San Francisco-based company boasts a 116-year history as a quality maker of fine hats and accessories, they are far from stuffy. The lively crowd that gathered to celebrate the opening ran the gamut, just as Goorin’s hats do. Punks, hipsters, fashionistas, grandparents and Average Joes mingled and sipped cocktails provided by Svedka Vodka and noshed on snacks hosted by Larchmont Larder and Sprinkles Cupcakes.
